Family Overview

The CNV30 serial converters are designed for installation in industrial environments and realized with digital technology to achieve high and constant performances. Of compact size, they can be quickly installed on DIN rail.

All models have the triple insulation that insulates among them the communication ports and the power supply. This solution provides the maximum noise immunity and removes the problems associated with the ground loops and with the potential differences that may arise among different devices.

The inputs are equipped with effective protection to the electrostatic charges while the outputs are totally protected, even permanently, against the short circuits.

For the RS485 converters the bus switching from reception to transmission can be performed automatically by the device that, thanks to an exclusive algorithm removes any communication delay.

Special attention deserve the model CNV3030, able to realize a RS485 bus directly from the USB port of a PC, and the model CNV3020, which allows to extend to over 500mt distance the standard RS232 serial line retaining all the control signals, ensuring a full-duplex communication and using for the connection a simple twisted pair cable.
